For Winter 2026, launching under the Protect Plus banner, Skopos will be releasing their new textured impervious upholstery collection, Caldera. Developed for the rigors of the contract world, Caldera brings together two unique, elegant designs, Ostro and Marin. Flame Retardant as standard, with antimicrobial protection and designed with a Stain and Soil Resistant finish, this collection helps to keep contract furniture looking good–as–new for an extended period and works well in contract spaces, where a little extra protection is a benefit.
The Ostro woven design has been inspired by volcanic landscape, patterns found in nature and also has an on-trend, feline–inspired twist; while Marin uses fancy boucle yarns, to form a highly textured, woven, organic, nature-inspired check. This collection celebrates texture, bringing additional warmth and dynamism into interior schemes. Both qualities are 100% Polyester with a Crib 5 Halogen-free backing, and a waterproof layer to protect from spills and accidents, perfect for Care or Hospitality spaces. Offered in 40 colourways, ranging from classic neutrals to Mediterranean hues, fabrics are aimed to compliment other elements within a full interior scheme.
Hard-wearing, achieving 50,000+ Martindale rubs, for severe contract, Ostro and Marimretain their eye-catching appearance in the most demanding spaces, perfect for hospitality bedrooms, bar and lounge areas.
The collection offers all the key attributes required by specifiers, with a stylish solutionwhich feels comfortable; a go-to option for contract furniture makers, end-users and designers alike. Caldera provides a complimentary furniture offer, alongside Skopos’ recently launched STUDIO prints and works well with other Upholstery woven fabrics within the Protect Plus offer.
