Introducing TRAYY, the new table system for collaborative and flexible work environments

Actiu, leaders in the design and manufacture of commercial furniture for corporate, contract, healthcare and educational environments, presents TRAYY, a new table system designed by Michele Menescardi with Cristian Gori. This new product transforms any operational space into a more flexible, dynamic environment prepared to foster active collaboration without sacrificing individual focus, wellbeing, or efficiency.

TRAYY is a hybrid and versatile table system that enables the creation of multipurpose workspaces, combining innovative design with structural robustness. Designed for offices and educational spaces, TRAYY addresses one of the major challenges of contemporary work environments: creating work areas capable of constantly evolving according to individuals. Its lightweight and functional design allows spaces to be quickly reorganised and different usage configurations to be generated thanks to a wide variety of formats, heights and accessories.

Designed with versatility in mind, the tables can be configured with casters (TRAYY Linne) or levelling feet (TRAYY Cunne) and combined in different formats and dimensions, from individual workstations to collaborative setups, bench systems of up to four seats or meeting tables. Table systems can also be specified with integrated lighting, connectivity and add-on accessories such as whiteboards, planters, hooks, or small upper containers that expand possibilities for organisation and storage without breaking the visual continuity of the table.

One of the system’s distinctive elements lies in its structure, using die-cast aluminium components to create a visual identity and aesthetic coherence across the space. A 100% recyclable material, its materiality reinforces the system’s sustainability criteria, aligning closely with Actiu’s wider brand commitment to developing durable and efficient solutions that facilitate a circular economy. The industrial precision also enhances stability and structural robustness, offering a solution designed for intensive use and long product life.

What makes TRAYY so effective is how it resolves complex spatial needs using an uncomplicated and iconic appearance. Conceived as a versatile system rather than a single product, it enables multiple configurations while maintaining visual coherence across the workspace. This is complemented by the integration of connectivity solutions, mobility, and accessories that enable different uses and enhance functionality. In addition, the possibility of incorporating structures in different colours introduces a fresher look, bringing personality to the space and moving away from the usual neutrality of operational

“Collaborative spaces today require a much greater capacity for adaptation. Organizations are looking for solutions that allow an environment to be quickly transformed without losing aesthetic coherence, functionality or comfort. With TRAYY we wanted to respond precisely to that need through a system capable of evolving alongside current work dynamics,” explains Soledat Berbegal, Board Member and Brand Reputation Director at Actiu.
