A fresh take on timeless design

For more than 25 years, The Cotswold Company has been designing and crafting furniture that combines timeless style with lasting quality. Initially renowned for its timeless and finely crafted cabinet furniture, the company has evolved to offer a broad range of homewares, including lighting, soft furnishings and bed linens as well as garden furniture and upholstery, made in the UK.

The brand continues to draw inspiration for its furniture and homewares collections from the natural beauty, architecture and spirit of the Cotswolds, underpinned by its ambition to create the highest quality furniture that is made for life.

While many designers know The Cotswold Company for its heritage collections, today’s range extends far beyond its traditional roots. Alongside its classic oak furniture are contemporary collections in blonde, toasted and smoked oak finishes, as well as made-to-order upholstery and bespoke beds, creating new opportunities for residential, boutique hotel and hospitality projects.

At the centre of this is the Contemporary Classics collection. Drawing on Scandinavian influences and mid-century forms, the range combines natural materials with thoughtful detailing. These pieces feel equally at home in contemporary and classic interiors. Oakridge features fluted fronts, brass-plated handles and warm oak finishes, while Halford, Weston and Winson favour clean, geometric lines. Together, they show how contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship can sit comfortably alongside one another.

Beyond cabinetry, The Cotswold Company has also expanded its made-to-order upholstery collection. Handcrafted in the UK by master upholsterers, each sofa and armchair can be tailored to suit individual projects, with a choice of shapes, fabrics, fillings and leg finishes. Available with Crib 5 compliant options, The Cotswold Company’s upholstery range is well suited to hospitality interiors. The Bespoke upholstered bed collection offers a choice of styles, frames and fabrics, making it easy to create co-ordinated schemes across bedroom and living spaces. IHS PRESS INSERTION

While the collections continue to evolve, the craftsmanship behind them remains unchanged. At the core of The Cotswold Company lies the commitment to the use of the best quality materials and practices as well as responsibly sourced timber for all its wood furniture. The brand meticulously traces the origin of every piece back to its forest roots.

As a certified B Corporation and Industry Partner of the British Institute of Interior Design, The Cotswold Company continues its commitment to responsible craftsmanship while supporting professionals shaping residential and hospitality interiors across the UK.

As hospitality interiors increasingly look to create spaces with the warmth and comfort of home, co-ordinated furniture collections make it easier to create a cohesive look across multiple rooms. Extending across dining, living, kitchen and bedroom furniture, The Cotswold Company’s collections help create cohesive schemes without compromising on craftsmanship or longevity.

From boutique hospitality projects to residential homes, The Cotswold Company’s dedicated Trade team offers exclusive Trade pricing and expert support to bring every scheme to life.
