Lifestyle hotel brand Locke will open Alto 19 this month – a new rooftop restaurant, bar and lounge on the 19th floor of its waterfront hotel in Canary Wharf, offering views across London’s iconic skyline.
Operated by White Rabbit Projects and designed by Holloway Li, the 100-cover venue combines a modern Mediterranean menu, bold seasonal cocktails and a late-night music programme. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Chris Dargavel, who joins from Daphne’s in Kensington, where he spent three years as Head Chef.
Building on the hotel’s design Alto 19 brings a touch of cinematic glamour to the dining experience at Locke London Canary Wharf offering the perfect ingredients for a sky-high dining location in the city.
“At Locke, we are always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience by offering something unique, and Alto 19 provides just that bringing together incredible food and drink, breathtaking views of the city and a vibrant atmosphere. It perfectly complements the property’s stylish yet relaxed approach, creating a space where guests and locals alike can connect and unwind and Alto 19 embodies just that,” said Alastair Thomann, CEO of Locke.
Beyond Alto 19, Locke Canary Wharf offers guests a sanctuary with a social pulse, combining refined interiors, premium amenities, an all-day café and dynamic communal spaces without the formality often associated with luxury hotels.

Accommodation ranges from studios to spacious suites, many offering views across the Thames and London skyline. Thoughtfully designed to adapt to different requirements as the day evolves, its spaces move seamlessly between work, relaxation and socialising, reflecting Locke’s contemporary approach to hotels.
