Kährs eco-friendly, multi-layered wood flooring was once again voted Hardwood Flooring Product of the Year at the 2013 CFJ/CFA Flooring Industry Awards – the 12th time it has received this accolade. Sponsored jointly by the Contract Flooring Journal and the Contract Flooring Association, the award was based upon CFJ readers’ votes.
Kährs’ acclaimed range of wood floors provides an array of stylish and durable flooring solutions, underpinned by an ethical, high performance construction. With options available to suit all environments and budgets, designs span numerous wood species, patterns and formats, each offered with a choice of durable prefinishes. A variety of designer treatments is also available, including on-trend brushed, bevelled and distressed finishes, as well as bespoke treatments by request.
All designs are based on Kährs’ original multi-layered construction – patented in”Sweden in 1941 – which uses sustainable hardwood down to the joint only, with fast-growing timber below. This design, alongside Kährs’ Woodloc joint, provides greater stability, promotes fast installation and eliminates gapping throughout the long lifetime of the floor.
A complementary range of accessories is offered alongside each flooring collection, as well as with maintenance, display and marketing materials.
