German bathroom manufacturer, Bette, has launched BetteLux, an innovative enamelled steel bath. The product’s narrow rim width of 8mm has been made possible thanks to a new way in which the steel is formed.
BetteLux offers a number of aesthetic and installation advantages. The bath gently flows upwards to a fine line and has a soft and fluid design, making the product look and feel comfortable.
The fine rim means that the bath can be installed in two ways. Firstly, it can be fitted with a panel leaving only a very small rim visible, allowing the bath to integrate easily with the furniture of the room. Secondly, the design of the rim means that the bath can be installed flush into a stone surface – as is popular in hotel rooms.
The BetteLux bath is available in three sizes: 170 x 75 x 45cm, 180 x 80 x 45cm and 190 x 90 x 45cm.
Bette is also launching stylish washbasins that co-ordinate with the BetteLux bath, which – like the bath – are made from elegant, easy-to-clean and durable enamelled steel.
The washbasins can be selected with no or a hidden overflow, resulting in the absence of visible holes or difficult-to-clean areas. This, combined with the soft and flowing interior – which has no corners or edges – contrasting with the defined lines of the exterior, makes the BetteLux washbasins truly distinctive.
