Heather Maloney, vice president of design at King & Grove Hotels, has teamed up with Bluecoast Hospitality to launch her Collection No.1 – originally designed for curated online marketplace, Vintage & Modern – to the hospitality sector. Bluecoast Hospitality will be the exclusive manufacturer and supplier of Maloney’s collection for the contract market.

Originally designed for small, residential spaces, Collection No.1 features timeless materials and modern silhouettes that easily translate to the hospitality market. Heather says: “The overall design of the collection is a reflection of my love for simple, classic materials that are comfortable but still a bit sexy – teak, brass, black marble, leather and linen.”

The collection features 12 pieces, including a tufted leather sofa, a brass-framed end table with a black marble top, a teak coffee table with a double component top, and linen slipcovered upholstery.

Bluecoast Hospitality, provides distinctive, high-end furnishings to luxury hotel properties. The company has completed a roster of four- and five-star hotels and resorts around the world, working with clients such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Ritz-Carlton and the Mandarin Hotel Group.

Doug Olson, co-founder and managing director at Bluecoast Hospitality, comments on the collaboration: “Having worked with Heather on hospitality projects in the past, I was excited to get the chance to be involved in manufacturing her new furniture collection.”

Heather adds: “Bluecoast Hospitality was able to take my designs and craft them in the highest quality, and still maintain competitive price points. The final product has been very impressive.”
