Granorte continues to lead the way in offering the latest alternative looks for flooring with its latest collection of recycled leather floors. The new range is ideal for bringing a distinctive and exclusive aesthetic with a touch of the exotic to commercial interiors.
With a soft and supple feel, the Corium flooring features a range of textures – reminiscent of crocodile and ostrich effects – offering a discreet way to add opulent texture and interest. Available in a selection of hues – from the reddish brown tones of Toscana Ruggine to Umbria Nero in deep black – the floors have a subtle burnished glow that captures and gently reflects the light.
With an Aqua 2K+ waterborne finish and moisture-resistant HDF HidroCore, the flooring offers longevity which is suitable for moderate commercial use. Kind to the environment and indoor air quality, the natural flooring contains no added formaldehyde, and carries FSC accreditation, the Greenguard seal of approval and an A+ rating from the French VOC label.
“With flexible, durable leather used for high-end handbags, car seats and jackets, why not take a step further and apply leather to flooring?” says Paulo Rocha, product manager at Granorte. “Although a slightly more unusual choice, leather flooring brings a premium, high-end aesthetic to interiors, which can be show-stopping. As well as looking luxurious, the Corium collection feels exceedingly comfortable underfoot, with all the natural warmth, softness and elegance that plush leather brings.”
