Hakwood, a global leader in the production of high-end wood flooring, has chosen 100% Design on 21st – 24th September at Olympia, London for the international launch of its new collection of wall tiles.
Wall Tiles is a new and innovative product from Hakwood that uses a hanging system for easy installation, enabling architects and designers to create bespoke feature walls.
The wooden tiles allow the designer full flexibility and control to make a vertical statement and design their own pattern landscape as well as personalise each scheme by moving tiles around to make new patterns.
Each tile is a Duoplank pre-fabricated wood tile that is available in a variety of designs, dimensions and thicknesses including a broad range of colours and textures.
“In producing our wood flooring we enjoy co-creating with architects and designers,” explains Edwin Hak, product design & development at Hakwood. “With our new ‘Wall Tiles,’ architects and designers can really let their creativity run free.
“The options are endless, for instance a square panel of tiles can be installed as a statement piece on a painted wall, a strip along the wall or even the whole room from floor to ceiling. We have a number of standard designs in our collection, but it is always possible to start from a clean slate that responds to a unique & bespoke design brief to help create Great Vertical Statements.”
