Opened in November 2012, the InterContinental London Westminster Hotelis the first of the brand’s properties to open in London for over 36 years. Situated in the capital’s centre – within earshot of the chimes of Big Ben – the four-star property exudes period appeal.

256 guest rooms are spread across six floors, and include 45 individually-decorated suites with a separate lounge and bedroom. All bathrooms are finished to a high specification, and feature luxury products from international bathroom specialist, Hansgrohe, and its designer brand, Axor.

Designed by celebrated Spanish designer, Patricia Urquiola for Axor, the Axor Urquiola single lever basin mixer plays a central role in all of the hotel’s bathrooms. Other products include the popular PuraVida collection, the Croma 100 EcoSmart and the iconic Raindance AIR overhead shower.

Comfortable, modern design, combined with strong eco credentials, is also on display in the hotel’s washrooms, with the Metris electronic basin mixer. Operated by infra-red sensor, the touch-free models ensure the highest possible standards of hygiene, along with responsible consumption of water.
