mrf’s diverse offering

Based in”ˆWillenhall in the West Midlands, mrf designs and manufactures contemporary furniture for the contract market, working alongside architects, interior designers, specifiers, trade suppliers and end users. The company is able to work from small-batch production and project-based requirements, through to full roll-out programmes. With an extensive range of standard products, from chairs and stools to cubes and tables, mrf’s bespoke furniture design solutions have broad appeal.

Consolidating on last year’s move into larger premises, mrf has just launched a new device-responsive website, which automatically resizes for smartphones, tablets and desktop computers with 2D and 3D CAD download sections.

Alongside these developments, the company has a number of new products for 2013. Designed by Jason Lansdale, Julio is a soft seating range comprising free standing and modular upholstered elements. Ideally suited to the office, hospitality, leisure and contract markets, Julio has a crisp geometric aesthetic accentuated by its chamfered arm detail. The range is available in low-back and high-back options, and can be assembled into a variety of configurations and installations. The upholstery provides architects and designers with a versatile platform to create various fabric combinations and colours.

Wingback is a distinctive two-seater sofa set on a bright chrome rod frame, and takes its styling from the traditional high back settle, and the grandeur of Victorian railway hotels. Providing a striking solution for corporate receptions and public waiting areas, the range is now available with an option of timber legs for hotel and bar interiors.

mrf’s designs utilise a wide range of materials, from upholstery to formed plywood, timber frames, tubular and sheet steel and toughened glass. Its established supply chain has a strong tradition in furniture manufacturing and installation work. Trading as mrfdesign, the company provides the specifier and customer with a comprehensive range of modern contract furniture.
