VitrA’s functional beauty

VitrA UK‘s exhibit at Sleep 2013 will highlight its innovative bathroom products to a dedicated audience of architects and interior designers working on prominent hotel projects. Visitors to stand V6A will be able to explore the latest technological advancements from NOA Designs and the VitrA development team.

VitrA’s M-Line range will be on display. The basin has been specifically designed with the optimal bowl depth so that dirt is prevented from building up. This is ideal for hotels where hygiene and cleanliness is paramount.

The co-ordinating rimless M-Line WC also has a number of innovative features. Traditional WC designs include a channel feature to distribute water when flushed, which can create a nook for germs to gather and collect. VitrA’s M-Line WC eradicates this problem with its channel-free design.

Its sleek and smooth surface ensures the WC is always clean. The water diverter which is used to distribute water is also removable to ensure that every crevice can be easily and thoroughly cleaned.

In addition, the WC can also be kitted out with a VitrA Fresh flush tank, which adds a dose of cleaning liquid to every flush. The tank sits inconspicuously at the back of the WC, and can be easily accessed for topping up with fresh liquid.

However, the M-Line’s innovations should not overshadow its aesthetics – the range is an example of practical yet environment-enhancing design. The sleek clean lines and subtle curved edges that characterise the M-Line range elevate the bathroom products from being purely functional to a design statement.

The M-Line range presents a multitude of options for creating a cohesive design scheme throughout a hotel, with WCs and basins available in different sizes for cloakrooms or master bathrooms. It also presents floor-standing and wall-hung versions, with both inset and countertop editions.

One particular model of note within the range is the M-Line Monobloc floor-standing washbasin. The product is constructed from one piece of ceramic, which is technically difficult to achieve. This creates a bold and impressive design statement, which instantly makes an impression in any bathroom. Whether the washbasin is used individually in a guest bathroom or multiple pieces are grouped within a communal washroom, the product adds a sophisticated edge to any scheme.
