A taste of Morocco

Moroccan Bazaar is a leading supplier and manufacturer of exquisite Moroccan interior products. The family business, which spans three generations dating back to 1946, originally started out as a wholesale supplier, and has evolved into a well-known name in the manufacture and distribution of home and contract furnishings. The company’s range of over 3000 products can be viewed and are available to purchase at its West London showroom, as well as via its website.

Over the years, Moroccan Bazaar’s products have been used throughout the world in luxury hotels and private residences. The company has also supplied production companies for well-known film and television shows.

Moroccan Bazaar works tirelessly to provide high-quality, authentic furnishings. Its product portfolio ranges from intricate fine lighting to aesthetic furniture collections made from a range of materials – all produced in its own workshops in Morocco.

Quality is the company’s key principle. Its approach in conducting its business with honesty and integrity is adopted with its talented craftsmen, who ultimately form the foundation of the partnership. A network of over 1000 craftsmen work exclusively with the family to ensure a constantly-evolving product range, which is high in both quality and consistency.

Moroccan Bazaar prides itself on its comprehensive traditional range, as well as the collections which are more suited to contemporary living spaces, in which a touch of something distinctive and individual is desired.

Providing design inspiration, the company’s online projects gallery offers an insight into a handful of completed projects the company has undertaken.

Annabel Hall at Annabel Hall Design, who utilised Moroccan Bazaar’s expertise for a recent project, comments: “Having worked on several international projects, I knew that our greatest problem would be the sourcing of local workmen with enough skills to carry out the conversion that I envisaged.

“We were fortunate to meet with Adnan Bennani from Moroccan Bazaar. His company’s network of master craftsmen skilled in the art of intricate plasterwork, traditional tiles, delicate brassware and beautiful carved and painted ceilings are second to none.

“Without his help, the job would have taken twice as long and the outstanding final result would have been extremely difficult to achieve. The end result exceeded all our expectations.”
