Zélia Halkidiki set to open in May

Zélia Halkidiki SA, the owners of Zélia Halkidiki, a five-star adults-only resort, have entered into a franchise agreement with a subsidiary of Hyatt Hotel Corporation. With a planned opening under the Destination by Hyatt brand by the end of May, the resort will be the second Hyatt-affiliated resort operating in Greece, comprising 104 guestrooms and 18 suites.

Set on the picturesque coastline of the Kassandra Peninsula, Zélia Halkidiki will provide a gateway for guests to experience the true beauty of the destination, with stays centred on relaxation, rejuvenation and personalisation. Just 50 minutes from Thessalonki International Airport and 25 minutes from the centre of Nea Moudania, the resort is in a prime positioned to explore all the region has to offer. Rooms and suites offer the ultimate comfort and style, complete with views of the Aegean Sea or lush gardens, Le Labo toiletries and king-sized beds. For serene seclusion opt for the Swim-Up Suites with private terrace, or the Panorama Loft Sea View Suite, set across two floors featuring a private balcony.

Guests will be able to unwind at the Zélia Amazonia Spa, enjoy state-of-the-art fitness facilities -including pilates reformers – or take a dip in one of the two pools framed by plush sun loungers. Those wanting to venture further afield can arrange curated hiking and e-bike tours through the dedicated concierge, with routes winding through sand dunes and coastal forests, peppered with pitstops along the way to soak up breathtaking vistas.

Elevating Halkidiki’s culinary scene, Zélia Halkikdiki’s dining options will be led by award-winning Chef Vassili Papatheodorou, whose menus blend international flavours with local produce. Indulge in Mediterranean-inspired plates at Mesogaea, fresh bites at Zest and Japanese-Peruvian fusion at Shizen. For a more intimate experience, Syntrofi, set within a fragrant vegetable garden offers a farm-to-table experience where chefs transform produce into delectable dishes served up during private dinner under the stars. Complementing the culinary offerings, two chic bars offer handcrafted cocktails and local wines, while live music enhances the ambiance as the sun dips beneath the sea. Combining elegance with a laid-back atmosphere, Zélia Halkidiki is the ideal destination for couples and discerning travellers seeking both serenity and adventure in the heart of Greece.

“We are thrilled that the Hotel will be affiliated with Destination by Hyatt, becoming part of a global collection known for its exceptional service and unique destinations. As we prepare to open this season, we strive to offer an unforgettable guest experience, and affiliating with the Destination by Hyatt brand will allow us to enhance that promise, offering guests a truly enjoyable stay in one of Greece’s most beautiful locations,” said Anais Karagianni of Zelos Capital Partners owners of Zelia Halkidiki.
