Awards launched to find UK’s most stylish hospitality establishments

Luxury linen provider, Hilden, is on the hunt for the most stylish hospitality establishments across the UK, with this year’s focus on finding the most stylish bedroom, bathroom and dining room.

The Hilden Style Awards are back for a third year, inviting hotels, B&Bs, restaurants and other accommodation providers to put forward the best pictures of their most stylish rooms. The winners for each category will be decided by five esteemed judges who are each operating at the forefront of the industry.

This year’s judges are; Thom Hetherington, organiser of Northern Restaurant and Bar Exhibition; Nora Elias, Editor of the Professional Spa & Wellness magazine; Kerry Adams, Regional Chair – Yorkshire and North-East for UK Housekeepers Association (UKHA); Anne Britton, Executive Housekeeper of the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel London and Rod Nutter Commercial Director for Vision Support Services Group Ltd, a global textiles specialist providing for the accommodation market.

Hilden, which is more than 140 years old, is powered by parent company, Vision Support Services Group. Laurie Thomas, Managing Director of Vision said: “We’ve supplied linen to some of the most beautiful rooms across the world which we think often don’t get the recognition they deserve. This made us want to launch our Style Awards – to celebrate those venues and establishments which put a lot of effort into designing and styling rooms to enhance the guest experience.

“We have a lot of boutique hotels and small B&Bs enter who are relatively unknown but are fantastic innovators and designers and it’s these kind of establishments we want to seek out and reward.”

Last year’s winners included, The Fable, a magically designed eatery in the heart of London; 23 Mayfield, a tastefully renovated Victorian property in Edinburgh and Northcote, a beautifully renovated property which offers a stylish and characteristically British experience.

Laurie finishes: “Our awards have grown year on year and this year we are already seeing some fantastic entries. Our judges this year really add kudos to what we are trying to achieve and we hope we can inspire as many establishments to enter and showcase their style.”

The Hilden Style Awards close at midnight on 31st August 2015, winners will be announced in September. Visit the Hilden website to enter.
