BLINK Design Group launches new London studio

BLINK Design Group has officially landed in London, marking a significant new chapter for the globally acclaimed interior design studio. With established hubs in Bangkok, Singapore and Dubai, the company – founded and led by visionary designer Clint Nagata – continues its international momentum with the opening of its first UK outpost. The new studio brings together a curated team of top-tier creatives and strategic leaders, reinforcing BLINK’s reputation for design excellence across continents.

For Clint, the move feels personal as well as strategic. “Securing three landmark projects in Europe marked the turning point we have been working for,” he said. “London has long been a crucible of ideas, and a place where global design narratives converge. The decision to land BLINK here, therefore, is as emotional as it is strategic. It feels like home to us, and we want to bring something soulful and authentic to this city’s extraordinary energy.”

BLINK’s London base launches with the appointment of William Evans as Director of Development, leading business development and strengthening relationships with developers, investors and clients. Matt Nadilo, appointed Associate Director of Interior Design, brings over 20 years of international luxury hospitality experience and will work alongside Clint to shape the creative heart of the London studio.

“The first few appointments in a new territory are always the hardest,” Clint said. “But I’ve always believed that if you build a community rooted in collaboration, the rest falls into place. At BLINK, we’re fortunate to have a team of truly exceptional people – and that spirit carries through to every one of our studios around the world.”

The studio is already working on highly anticipated European projects, including Six Senses Loire Valley Residences – a luxury development within a UNESCO World Heritage site near Paris—and a refined retreat in Normandy where heritage architecture meets contemporary design. Both reflect BLINK’s signature strength: crafting deeply rooted, culturally resonant design narratives.

BLINK’s design philosophy is anchored in Clint’s own story. Born and raised on Oahu and shaped by Japanese heritage, his lifelong passion for travel, hospitality and culture informs the studio’s approach across continents. Every BLINK project is, at its core, a narrative – an expression of place, local materials, traditions and history.

Programmes such as S.W.A.P, BLINK’s international exchange initiative, and the Wish To Remember scholarship, which sends designers around the world to explore culture and creative technique, reinforce the studio’s belief in design as an act of exploration.

From the beaches of Bali to the mountains of Kyoto, and from the Maldives to Mauritius, Clint and his global team have shaped some of the world’s most celebrated hotels and residences, including Six Senses Kyoto, One&Only Le Saint Géran and Banyan Tree Dubai. Their work has received numerous awards, including the Vogue Living Design Awards, Elle Deco Sustainability Awards, Gold Key Awards, and AHEAD Asia accolades.

Today, BLINK collaborates with leading hospitality brands such as One&Only Resorts, Nobu, Banyan Tree, Park Hyatt, Orient Express, Mandarin Oriental, Waldorf Astoria and Alila, alongside private commissions in some of the world’s most exclusive destinations.

With its London opening, BLINK brings its thoughtful, narrative-driven design approach to the UK and European stage.

“Our work has always been about creating places that feel like they belong – that feel inevitable,” Clint adds. “London is a city that embraces the world – we’re here to add our story to its tapestry.”
