The Gettys Group has announced the promotion of Christy Hubbard to the position of design director, after 11 years spent as a senior designer with the firm.
“I am honored to lead a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering purposeful design for a diverse range of hospitality projects,” Christy comments. “After more than a decade working in The Gettys Group’s Chicago headquarters, it is rewarding and energizing to be recognized for my work and leadership.”
Hubbard received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Iowa State University. She is LEED-AP certified and a member of the International Interior Design Association.
Hubbard’s high-profile projects with The Gettys Group include Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter, the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel and Hotel Ivy near Minneapolis, the Westin in Jackson, Miss., and the Al Ghurair Centre in Dubai.
