Tony Browne has been appointed as Business Development Manager by Design at Knightsbridge to steer sales of the company’s collections of fine dining chairs, tables and upholstered furniture across the hotel, leisure and executive arenas.
Tony brings experience of all aspects of furniture design, manufacture and sales to his new post, thanks to 12 years with Lloyd Loom and 14 years with Verco Office Furniture, where he worked his way from the shop floor to production management before moving to the sales department.
“I’m perhaps rare in having such a thorough grounding in the furniture manufacturing process as well as in sales, and feel this gives me a unique edge when it comes to understanding the market as a whole,” says Tony. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of my new role at Design at Knightsbridge, which is as much about building stronger relationships with our key clients as it is about creating new opportunities within the hospitality sector, particularly in and around London.”
