The Master Innholders’ 22nd Annual Hotel General Managers’ Conference is expected to be another sell-out success as details of this year’s theme are announced.

Taking place at London Hilton on Park Lane on 19th and 20th January 2015, a theme of ‘People & Places’ underpins a programme designed to provide hotel general managers with insight into what motivates customers in a globalised marketplace where increasing numbers of people are choosing to travel.

The conference will explore the increasing impact of technology on every aspect of our lives and look to discuss and advise on the opportunities and methods for motivating hotel teams to excel.

Amongst the impressive line-up of speakers at this year’s conference is Arthur de Haast, chairman Hotels & Hospitality Group at Jones Lang LaSalle, Mario Jobbe, COO of Circos Brand Karma, Rebecca Stephens, founder of Seven Summits Performance Ltd and Gavin Esler, chancellor of University of Kent.

Other familiar hospitality industry stalwarts sharing expertise include Sir David Michels, Ian Millar of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Julia Sibley MBE, chief executive of the Savoy Education Trust and Ufi Ibrahim, CEO of the British Hospitality Association.

Speaking of the launch of this year’s programme, Jonathan Raggett FIH MI, chairman of The Master Innholders, says: “This prestigious annual event is widely regarded as one of the most important forums for debating and forecasting the current and future hospitality industry trends, supporting professionals with strategic business planning.

“It is attended by renowned industry talents, leading hoteliers and innovative suppliers, creating an unrivalled opportunity to network and share expertise. The sessions are relevant to managers at all levels across the spectrum of the industry and the conference remains the only one of its type, inspired and delivered by general managers for general managers.”

On the evening of 19th January, the Black Tie Gala Dinner will see the Hotelier of the Year presented with this prestigious accolade by Mark Lewis, publisher of The Caterer, before guests are entertained by speaker Tom Parker-Bowles.

The full delegate conference package is offered at the attractive rate of £420 per person including VAT. For this, delegates can enjoy the conference, lunch on both days and a Champagne reception and black tie dinner.

You are also able to book for a day-only session at £175 per day, inclusive of VAT, and £175 inclusive of VAT, for the Champagne reception and black tie dinner.

‘Early birds’ can secure one free place with every four booked at the same time, provided the booking is made before 30th November 2014. This is only valid for bookings made on the full delegate conference package.
