Juniper unveils stunning Soho showroom

Juniper, a design and manufacturing company dedicated to producing thoughtfully-designed and meticulously engineered lighting solutions, has unveiled their light-filled SoHo showroom in New York City, centrally located at 1 Crosby Street. Creatively conceptualized by Asthetíque and developed by Juniper’s in-house creative team, the showroom was conceived as a full hospitality experience to exhibit the company’s rich product portfolio.
“Our showroom will become a place to gather, exchange ideas and share stories about resilience in the design industry,” says CEO and Founder of Juniper, Shant Madjarian “We hope to bring designers in to see the quality of our product in a safe, socially distanced way.”
“Throughout the showroom, clients can see various finishes and configurations of every Juniper product line, including the Flutes, the THIN System, Metropolis, Axis and Ground Control,” says Creative Director Rodolfo Agrella. “They can experience our fixtures as purposeful, relevant in an inviting and beautifully lit space.”
Each section of the full open-floor space, from a welcoming lounge and bar area to an intimate, residential type vignette towards the south, was curated to foster the company’s Systems Collections within a realistic architectural environment. The entryway hosts custom solid brass THIN shelving and Metropolis fixtures overhead, while the cleverly appointed lounge area features a double diamond-shaped THIN chandelier in satin brass poised above a curved sofa and armchair setting. An emphasis on organic elements throughout, such as sleek planters and wooden side tables, reflects Juniper’s own use of natural materials and finishes that show the true origin and intent of their products. A curved-edge bar with a fluted glass backdrop diffuses light throughout the space, backed by the company’s Axis X and Axis T Sconces that infuse a glow of polished brass.
Oversized circles frame Juniper’s fixtures in myriad motifs to create functional light art throughout the showroom. A hand-crafted, black ash workshare table takes up the sunny southwest section of the showroom and illustrates Juniper’s Ground Control system, which inlays into the table and offers power and connectivity that is illuminated by an array of Lydian Flute pendants.
