Keramag Design opens Chelsea studio

Luxury bathroom sanitaryware and furniture specialist, Keramag Design has opened for business with its first UK studio on Lots Road, Chelsea – adjacent to the London Design Centre.

Aptly set against the beautiful backdrop of Chelsea Harbour, the impressive studio space, which will be open for a six-month period, has been designed to offer Keramag Design’s customers, from retailers to architects and designers, a tangible experience of the fusion of superb aesthetics, quality and timeless design which goes into every Keramag Design piece.

Recognised as one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of sanitaryware and furniture, the Keramag Design ethos is one of lasting value – using only top quality materials and state-of-the-art technology to deliver designs which outlast short-lived modern trends. Designed for desirability, the company’s collection of sanitaryware and furniture is targeted at the top-end of the market, from high-end commercial and private properties to luxury hotels and resorts.

At Lots Road Studio, Keramag Design is showing its newest suite of designer collections – Citterio, Preciosa II, myDay and Silk.

The Citterio range, designed by world-famous Italian architect, Antonio Citterio, features modern organic shapes with an enduring appeal. With Preciosa II, the creation of Keramag Design’s Bernd Brohammer, clear structures and sleek form come together culminating in a minimal style.

Conversely, the myDay collection, by industrial designer Cornelia Thies takes a pared-down approach giving a soft, natural and feel-good aesthetic.
Lastly, Silk, designed by internationally reputed automotive product designer Michael Schmidt, employs precise detail and thoughtful additions to create a sanctuary feeling.

John Blackburn, Keramag Design managing director, comments: “Following months of planning and major investment, we are thrilled to launch our brand-new Keramag Design studio in this elegant central London location.

“In bringing this exceptionally innovative and inspirational bathroom range to the UK market, it was vital to have an outstanding setting to showcase the sheer craftsmanship and beauty of the products to full effect.

“As it’s often difficult to appreciate how designs will look simply from viewing a brochure or website, we would encourage as many customers as possible to come and visit our studio over the next six months in order to fully visualise and appreciate what the Keramag Design concept has to offer.”

Keramag Design Studio, Fairbanks Studio 2, 65-69 Lots Road, London SW10 0RN

The studio is open by appointment only – readers should contact Lynn Dale on 07753 828 647, or email [email protected].
