NEWH celebrate UK’s Top Designers

Each year the NEWH UK chapter honours the creative talents of chapter members who are aligned with their mission of supporting scholarship and education with the much-coveted TopID award.

This year’s TopID awards are sponsored by Boss Design and will be held in their newly renovated Clerkenwell showroom on Tuesday 19th March at 6.30pm. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards scholarship awards for hospitality interior design students.

After a sold out event in 2023, NEWH are excited for another inspirational and exciting evening. Tickets are priced at only £35 for members and £45 for non-members and can be purchased via the NEWH website or using this link.

Goddard Littlefair

NEWH UK event programming director & associate at Indigo Art Ltd. Chrissie Granger said: “The TopID awards are a unique industry event, as we not only get to celebrate the success of our chapter members, but we also generate valuable scholarship funds for the next generation of designers. We are delighted that Boss Design are hosting the awards in their newly extended Clerkenwell showroom, following our hugely successful postcard art auction they kindly hosted last year.”

This year’s winners, Dawson Design, Goddard Littlefair and La Villaine will celebrate their winning projects with a short presentation from each practice followed by the presentation of their TopID Award. All projects submitted to NEWH UK had to be completed in the past 12 months.

Dawson Design’s exciting portfolio of projects span the United States, each with a unique and modern twist. Notably Hotel Ziggy (pictured) captures how design has been used to convey the history, location, and narrative of the hotel.

Having completed many stunning projects in the past 24 months, including Mondrian Shoreditch London, Raffles London OWO and Intercontinental Berlin, Goddard Littlefair added another  stand-out to their portfolio – Four Seasons Sultanahmet which evokes a sense of luxury and an authentic experience.

La Villaine

La Villaine have worked on a number of beautiful hospitality projects across the UK and Europe, and are  responsible for the timeless design at Benihana Covent Garden (pictured). The design captures the Japanese heritage within a central London Restaurant.

Mel Wetheridge – Hospitality Business Development Manager at Boss Design, said: “We are immensely honoured to continue our support of the NEWH UK in 2024, by sponsoring and hosting the TopID Awards in our Clerkenwell showroom. It’s a very special occasion in the NEWH UK annual calendar and we are excited to hear more about the winning projects and design inspiration while we celebrate the achievements of this year’s winners at this much-coveted event.”
