World-renowned interior architectural design firm, Wilson Associates, has announced the promotions of Louie Sison as Design Director and Lela Richardson as Operations Director – both of the Dallas studio.

With more than a decade of diverse experience in the design industry, Sison specializes in luxury and lifestyle hotels and restaurants. He joined the Dallas studio in September 2017 as Senior Designer.

“Louie has delivered a deep understanding of the international travel landscape and a tailored design approach to our projects,” comments Beth Campbell, CEO of Wilson Associates. “He’s created a pro-active, open and collaborative work environment that has allowed our Dallas team to flourish under his leadership. He has empowered the culture of the studio to exceed our clients expectations and deliver truly engaging experiences.”

Sison’s portfolio spans various international destinations. He has overseen the design of the guest rooms and suites of the newly opened Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Florida. Shaped like a guitar, the hotel consists of 638 rooms in the Guitar Tower and 168 rooms in the Pool Tower as well as eight swim-out suites and 10 VIP suites. Sison is currently leading several high-profile projects, such as Hilton San Diego Bayfront’s restaurant and event space, as well as the guest room renovation of Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.

Another rising leader for the Dallas studio, Richardson masters both business administration and interior design. Since joining Wilson Associates in January 2018 as Senior Project Designer, she has conceptualised the design intent for numerous luxury hotels around the world. Her experience in the hospitality interior design industry has resulted in acclaimed properties across the globe for such well-known brands as Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, and more.

“Lela has great experience with large hospitality projects, whether as a creative designer, structured project manager or skilled team leader,” said Campbell. “During these past years, Lela has shown extraordinary passion, full dedication, and provided continuous mentorship to her team. We are confident that Lela will be a strong support for our team.”

“Richardson’s experience in the hospitality interior design industry has resulted in acclaimed properties across the globe for such well-known brands as Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, and more”

In her role as an Operations Director, Richardson will oversee a wide roster of luxury hospitality projects for the Dallas studio. She will streamline workflow and optimise team structure, while also allocating resources and managing contracts, budgets, and communications.
