Celebrating 30 years of inspiring design

Ted Todd is an independent, British-based wood floor manufacturer committed to the social and environmental production of quality, design-led wood floors, surfaces, and architectural details. For 30 years, they have been transforming spaces and creating award-winning natural wood floors and cladding for aspirational home interiors and shared commercial spaces.

Their heritage dates back to 1993 when they began reclaiming and restoring old woods. Quickly, they built a strong reputation for restoration and pioneering timber of all species to make them beautiful and easy to use. In 1997, they started making new wood floors, drawing on what their artisans had learned from reclaiming 18th and 19th-century wood floors.

Ted Todd believe an investment in the best quality, real wood floor will add value to any project, and this confidence is reflected in a 30-year guarantee. Linda Zorlutuna, Head of Commercial Business Development for Ted Todd, said, “With a passion for wood, respect for nature, and unrivalled flooring expertise, we have been helping our customers to feel good for three decades. Our in-house team of wood floor experts is available to support our customers every step of the way with the aim of inspiring their wood floor journey, providing invaluable information and guidance needed to specify the best floor for their project – every time”.

Ted Todd has recently launched two new FSC-certified flooring collections, Residence and Connect.

Residence (shown here) is a collection of 10 elegant and refined floors that embody contemporary luxury, suited to chic, modern interiors. There are three designs to choose from, plank, herringbone and chevron which work as a multi format system with interchangeable colours and designs to create sophisticated laying patterns.

Residence has been created with exceptional quality; constructed from prime grade FSC-certified European oak with a clean uniform appearance, consistent in colour, straight grain and seamless bevel free edges with a 4mm wear layer and square shoulder.

Connect is a collection of 10 stylish and functional floors that serve the need for efficient installation with Ted Todd’s first and only click system flooring. The 10 tones range from cool grey tones, to rich cool-toned browns. Whilst Connect has character, it’s also an ideal choice for a minimal look.

Robert Walsh, founder and CEO of Ted Todd Group, commented on the launch “We’re incredibly proud to be launching two new collections to our portfolio of now eleven different flooring collections at Ted Todd. Following our launch into the USA last year, this is shaping up a fantastic 30th year for us. The innovation, style and commitment to high-quality, high-end flooring has kept us at the forefront of hardwood flooring specialists as our client base continues to grow across the world. We have a very exciting year ahead and look forward to working closely with our retail and commercial partners to continue this success.”
