ILIV to show three new collections at HIX 2025

Chinchero an intriguing range based on Peruvian artistry, along withVeneto and Monterey bringing a refined twist to commercial plains

This Autumn, ILIV have introduced three standout fabric collections, Veneto and Montereyboth bringing a different take on refinement and elegance to their commercial plains’portfolio, whilst the third is the new Print + pattern collection Chinchero.  With its bold and vibrant, zigzags, diamonds and geometric shapes, the Chinchero collection took inspiration from the ‘birthplace of the rainbow’.

All three collections have been designed specifically for the needs of the hospitality, workplace, and commercial interiors sector reflecting ILIV’s ability to combine aesthetic sophistication with technical performance. The Veneto and Monterey additions offer designers a versatile toolkit to create layered, tactile environments balancing elegance with durability, whilst Chinchero introduces an eclectic element with bold patterns and earthy colours.

Veneto is ILIV’s latest plain bouclé drapery collection, developed to bring softness, movement, and a feeling of luxury to commercial interiors. Its organically inspired texture suggests a feeling of warmth, which makes it the perfect choice for schemes that wish toprioritise comfort and tactility.

Available in 19 carefully curated colourways, the palette ranges from muted neutrals to richer, contemporary tones, allowing designers to layer colour and surface in subtle ways, for full-length drapery or as a soft accent in a workplace lounge. The plain weave and nuanced finish provide a discreet backdrop, complementing bolder designs while adding a quiet depth of its own.

For projects that require a plain fabric that brings with it a touch of understated richness Monterey is ideal.  This textured hopsack chenille, features a timeless upholstery weave and is enhanced with a subtle multi-tonal finish, giving the fabric a feeling of depth and movement. This makes it the perfect fabric to bridge the gap between durability and design;  its robust weave ensures longevity in high-traffic environments, while the soft chenille surface introduces an element of comfort.  This collection is ideal for a wide range of elegant seating in hotel lobbies and VIP lounges, where both performance and aesthetic impact are key.

The collection’s multi-tonal effect adds visual interest without overwhelming a space, also available in 19 colourways, it provides an extensive range of options for both contemporary and heritage-inspired interiors.  Both collections bring the spotlight onto plain fabric alternatives moving the focus into an arena where texture and colour are given equal weight.

For dramatic impact there is the Chinchero collection, a vibrant fusion of South American textile heritage and contemporary print versatility. Inspired by the Andean village of Chinchero and celebrated as “the birthplace of the rainbow” this new print range brings rich cultural storytelling to hospitality interiors.  As both texture and finish are key elements to this sector Chinchero is available across 21 base cloths via ILIV’s Print+ service.  The designs feature bold geometrics, symbolic motifs, and lush botanicals all of which have beendrawn from Mapuche, Chakara, and Amazonian traditions.  These patterns echo ancient landscapes and flowing rivers, while supporting stripes and small-scale weaves bear witness to the history and simplicity of hand-loomed cloths.

The colour palette plays a significant role bringing with it earthy shades of Cinnamon and Stonewood alongside the jewel tones of Tourmaline, Sapphire, and Sage, all embracing the natural dyes and vibrancy of the area.  Ideal for hotels, restaurants, and curated spaces requiring depth, warmth, and a narrative-rich design.

These three new collections offer designers the tools to deliver a commercial fabric that is technically robust but can also bring colour and personality into the mix whilst still meeting the rigorous safety standards required for contract settings.

For bespoke projects, ILIV’s custom design capabilities enable specifiers to tailor patterns, colours, and finishes to suit the unique character and requirements of each space.
