Cala Vista, perched high on the beachfront of Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, emerges as a culinary haven curated to bring the authentic flavours and ambiance of the Amalfi coast to the heart of Dubai. Head Chef Luca Castelli’s passion for fresh seafood and Italy’s culinary traditions comes to life in a setting that transcends the ordinary, inviting guests into a world where every detail is designed to enhance their experience of ‘la dolce vita.

Conceptualised as an ode to the Amalfi coast’s lifestyle, Cala Vista seamlessly marries Italian charm with the allure of the surrounding ocean views. As guests step into the restaurant, they are greeted by the enchanting presence of Olive trees and lush greenery, setting the stage for an alfresco dining experience like no other.

The design elements of Cala Vista are carefully curated to transport guests to the small Italian Piazzas, where every corner tells a story. Traditional awnings adorn pavilions, casting a playful dance of shadows over the Al fresco seating arrangement. Teak and iron-forged chairs, paired with comfortable lounge seating, create a sense of community and offer an elegant yet relaxed setting for guests to savour every moment.

The colour palette of Beige and Navy Blue, interspersed with bold stripes and vibrant Yellow accents, exudes a coastal vibrancy. Tables with classical iron bases and White Calacatta Gold effect reconstituted stone tops contribute to the sophisticated aesthetic, while the bar steals the spotlight with its craftsmanship entirely composed of Statuario marble.Terracotta pots and hand-glazed blue planters, housing lemon trees, add a touch of Mediterranean freshness. Bougainvillea gracefully climbs the main pavilion, creating a visually stunning connection between the structure and the surrounding environment.

The strategic placement of plantings not only adds character but also defines areas and provides privacy. Material selection is a celebration of purity and simplicity, reflecting honesty indesign. Teak wood, honed stones, tumbled travertine, Italian-inspired patterned tiles, Statuario marble, reconstituted stone, and bespoke cast iron railings harmoniously come together to create a timeless and inviting atmosphere.
